Dirty Work
Dirty Work is a 1998 comedy starring Norm MacDonald and Artie Lange. This buddy film was directed by Bob Saget. Lange and MacDonald play unemployed friends Sam and Mitch, who decide to start a revenge for hire business. They need to make some fast money to help Pops, Sam’s father get heart surgery.
After they embarrass a used car dealer on live TV, the two get mixed up in a evil real estate developers plot, played by Christopher McDonald to destroy a building. Mitch and Sam run into many problems when they find out that Mitch’s girlfriend’s grandmother lives in the building to be destroyed.
Gary Coleman, Chevy Chase, Adam Sandler, John Goodman and the late Chris Farley all make appearances. The film cost $13 million to make and it grossed a little over $10 million. Even though this film received bad reviews, it still remains a cult classic to this day.
