Almost Heroes
Chris Farley and Matthew Perry star in this 1998 comedy. The film was directed by Christopher Guest. Matthew Perry stars as a stuffy aristocrat who sets out on an expedition to discover America’s new frontier. He hires Bartholomew Hunt, played by Chris Farley. Bartholomew is a tracker that has many issues. Along with Bartholomew, he has also hired a group of rag tag misfits to join the wagon train.
During their journey, the group runs into many diversions including bears, Native tribes and Spanish  conquistadors. They do make it to the frontier even though Bartholomew gets dragged off into the ocean by a large eagle. Unfortunately for the group, Lewis & Clark have already beaten them to discover the new frontier. Eugene Levy also stars as their interpreter but he does not speak any other language other than English.
