Airheads
Airheads came out on August 5th, 1994 and was written by Rich Wilkes and directed by Michael Lehmann. Brendan Fraser, Adam Sandler and Steve Buscemi star as a rag tag group of musicians who call themselves “The Lone Rangers”. Feeling defeated because they can’t seem to get any record producers to listen to their music, they all decide to take a local radio station hostage. Using water guns that resemble Uzi’s and loaded with hot pepper sauce, the group breaks into the radio station. Once inside, nothing goes as planned and hilarity ensues.
The movie cost $11 million to make and only grossed $5,751,882 domestically. Even though the film did not do so well, it has since become a cult favorite among rock fans and metalheads.
